In my opinion, these are the foods you should avoid at all costs.

 

1. Wheat - This includes bread, pasta, waffles, pancakes, biscuits etc.

 

Grains and wheat go through a process called hybridization, which strips it of its nutrients, and significantly raises the level of gluten it contains. This makes it extremely hard on your digestive system and causes serious problems such as inflammation and IBS.

It’s also a perfect example of a toxic refined carbohydrate.

 

Grains spike insulin and blood sugar levels and slow down your weight loss.

 

2. Soy - 90% of all soy is genetically modified and contains estrogen-like compounds called isoflavones. These compounds can promote the growth of some cancer cells, impair female fertility, and mess with thyroid function. Your thyroid is your metabolic regulator so you want it running at peak functionality for optimal weight loss.

 

3. Conventional oils - Convention oils include canola oil, sunflower oil, soybean oil, and vegetable oil. These conventional oils are very high in omega-6 which leads to systemic inflammation, and tons of health complications. They are also hydrogenated, genetically modified and extremely processed and refined. Our body doesn't even recognize these oils as real food, and see them as foreign invaders, which is part of the reason for the massive inflammation response. They have even been shown to increase aging and increase the risk of diseases such as heart disease.

 

4. White flour - White flour includes things like donuts, cake, muffins, crackers and cookies.

White flour is basically just complex sugar, and it is highly refined.

This makes it highly inflammatory to the body and it contains absolutely no nutrients what so ever. Because these foods contain absolutely no nutritional value, they leave you feeling empty and unsatisfied, leading to problems with overeating.

 

5. Sugar - Sugar is highly toxic to your body and should be seen as poisonous drug rather than food. It is highly addictive and will cause system wide inflammation. It also feeds bad yeast known as candida in your gut which causes an array of health problems.

 

It has been called "the silent killer" because it increases your risks of almost every chronic disease including heart disease, cancer, fatty liver, addiction and obesity.
